Be Part of the 3rd EAGE/SPE Geosteering Workshop

The third edition of the event will take place Online and the technical committee invite you to submit an abstract with a minimum of two (2) pages and a maximum of four (4) full pages in length, including a diagram. Abstracts should be submitted via the EAGE website using the workshop template.

We welcome abstracts focused on the following topics:

The overall method of the workshop is to hold Multidisciplinary sessions with purpose to cover broad area of topics and interests on geosteering and well placement.


• Industry case studies focused on best practices and strategies for well placement and geosteering applications in various reservoir types.


• Discussions focused on efficient workflows and technologies for data integration and modelling during real-time geosteering.


• Advancement in data analytics methods; to assist in geosteering and well placement.


• Vision for well placement and geosteering – where is the industry going? How will new technology, big computing resources, and integrated workflows open new possibilities in the future?


The 3rd EAGE/SPE Geosteering Workshop welcomes attendance and contribution of Geologists, Geophysicists, Petrophysicists, 3D Modelers, Reservoir Engineers, Management Engineers, Asset Team Leaders and Decision makers involved in the data gathering, interpretation, and execution of Geosteering process.
