Dr Mike Branston is the New Energy Domain Lead for Exploration Data (EXD).
Dr Branston holds both a BSc and a PhD in geophysics and was awarded Chartered Geologist status by the Geological Society of London in 2006. During his 25-year career he has been based in Norway, the UK, Qatar and Malaysia. Throughout his career he has been focused on designing technical solutions to subsurface imaging and monitoring challenges.

He has over 13 plus years of diverse experience across India, Middle East, Europe and South-East Asia in the reservoir modeling field, having worked with Roxar, SLB, Resoptima in the past.

Huijuan (Jenny) Yu is a Principal of Geoscience & Petroleum, in Baker Hughes and has 26 years working experience in oil and gas industry. She graduated from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and China University of Petroleum, holds master’s degree in petroleum engineering and Geoscience. Jenny has wide subsurface experiences from reservoir characterization to petroleum engineering. She is proficient in reservoir simulation and production forecast, well performance analysis, field development plan design, reserve evaluation and integrated GGRE study. Before joining in Baker Hughes, she had been working as different technical roles and worked on several key projects in CNOOC research institute, ConocoPhillips, and Poly_GCL. In recent years, she has been working on unconventional tight gas, shale oil, underground gas storage (UGS) and CCS/CCUS. Jenny has published ~30 papers in SPE etc.
