Integrated Geological and Structure-related Fracture to Assess Caprock Risk in Arun field, CCS/CCUS Opportunities in Indonesia

Short Abstract

Biography

A highly motivated person with more than 5 years’ working experience in Oil and Gas Company. As a Geologist, I used to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, comprehensive knowledge of geology, focusing on Structural Geology, Exploration techniques combine with sequence stratigraphy methods, and petroleum geology and blend it with computing engineering techniques using variety of software’s, also known as 4.0 era of Geoscientist in Oil and Gas. I have started my professional career as Junior Geologist at PEMA Global Energi (PGE), have a lot experience in Clastic and Carbonate Reservoir Where acquired from several project based and previous company such as performing Regional and prospect mapping, petrophysical evaluation, build static model and volume calculation, wellsite geologist in several well (discovered), get approval of Exploration wells, POD and WP&B from SKK Migas and BPMA (for Aceh Region).
Mr Forbes Sinclair
Crondall Energy

Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) – Operational Challenges

Short Abstract

Biography

Forbes is a Director of Crondall Energy, Chartered engineer, and Fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (FIMarEST). Forbes has 30 years’ experience in the energy industry specialising in CCUS, oil and gas field development and subsea pipeline engineering. Forbes’ experience in CCUS stems from Crondall’s role as part of a consortium of advisers to the UK Government on the Track 1 CCUS projects. Forbes led the cost assurance process for the East Coast cluster (ECC) and was advisor to Department of Energy and Net Zero (DESNZ) on all elements of project costs on the lead up to final investment decision. Forbes was also involved in technical assurance on offshore pipelines and infrastructure for ECC. Forbes’ development engineering expertise was strengthened through 11 years with a major oil and gas operator.
