Biography

Wan Muhammad Luqman is a researcher from PETRONAS Research Sdn. Bhd. His research is on the study of carbon capture and storage, with the focus on laboratory analyses to determine feasibility of potential CO2 storage site. He received his degree in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and currently pursuing his off-campus PhD with Heriot Watt University

Biography

Yashvardhan Verma is a research scientist, working in the National Centre of Excellence in CCUS at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. After completing his masters in Geophysical Technology, he worked for SLB as a geophysicist in Navi Mumbai, India for 4 years. He then completed his PhD through the IITB-Monash joint research programme, working on the induced seismicity and other geomechanical risks in CO2 EOR and storage. He was also instrumental in developing the most updated CO2 storage capacity map for Indian sedimentary basins, which is being used in several CCUS roadmaps for India.

Biography

Mingyuan Wang is an engineer from Research Institute Of Petroleum Exploration & Development, China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). His current research interests include CO2-enhanced oil recovery and carbon storage. Wang holds a PhD degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, an MSc degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Alberta, and a BEng degree in petroleum engineering from China University of Petroleum (Beijing).
