Dr Claudia Sorgi
SLB
Modelling-Based Quantitative Leakage Risk Analysis for Enhanced CCS Monitoring, Measurement and Verification Plans
1:10 PM - 1:30 PMBiography
Claudia Sorgi, Geomechanics Advisor and Monitoring Solutions Champion at SLB New Energy Carbon Solutions, has twenty-nine years’ experience in applied geomechanics and coupled modelling, with roles in academic research and technical consulting, including fifteen years’ experience in O&G industry. She obtained a PhD in engineering geology (1999) and has been lecturer (1998-2000) at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris (France). She has worked as mining consulting engineer at Institut National de l’Environnement Industriel et des Risques - France (2000-2007) before joining the RATP (Paris Underground) as vice-Director of the Civil Engineering Asset Control Department (2007-2010). She joined Schlumberger in 2010 as Geomechanics Engineer. She has been SPE Distinguish Lecturer for season 2023-2024. Her activities encompass onshore and offshore drilling integrity studies, exploration, appraisal and production projects, underground gas storage (natural and CO2 sequestration), quantitative risk assessment and MMV planning for CCS.
Ms Faten Nasyrah Zulkifli
