Details
This session explores the integration of artificial intelligence in geosciences and engineering to accelerate the development of low-carbon energy sources — with a focus on geothermal energy, but not only. Through a panel discussion involving experts in their field, we’ll examine how AI enhances subsurface imaging, resource detection, uncertainty characterisation and data-driven decision-making in energy exploration. From exploration to operation! The panel will be composed of experts in AI applied to exploration geoscience, exploration geophysics, reservoir modelling and reservoir engineering, or conformance and containment monitoring. Join us to explore the intersection of engineering, earth science, mathematics and data science — and to chart a digital path toward truly sustainable energy systems.
