Details
This session focusses on the geothermal exploration and development in (clastic) sedimentary formations that rely on matrix-permeability and are most often found in conduction-dominated geological settings. Their thermal response is controlled by sedimentary and structural features. These systems have their own characteristics and challenges in terms of, e.g., exploration, production and associated risks. We invite contributions on these aspects and encourage topics at the interplay between geoscience and engineering.
