Details
Advanced reservoir simulators can predict the behavior of geothermal system over a wide range of scenarios, providing crucial insights that can guide decision-making processes all the way from planning to construction and operation. As such, robust and efficient simulation tools are key to de-risking geothermal energy projects by optimizing resource extraction, enhancing system performance, and reducing operational risks.
This session invites contributions on the latest advancements in simulation technology for geothermal energy, including forward and inverse modelling, uncertainty quantification, and use of AI and machine learning. We also invite contributions on case studies that demonstrate the practical applications of geothermal simulators in real-world projects.
