This workshop covers the following topics:
-CO2 from the emitters to transport: CO2 concentration, impurities, pressure and temperature
-CO2 storage site: depleted hydrocarbon reservoirs / saline aquifers
Screening
-Site selection, assessment, storage capacity, containment
-CO2 Injection rates, Injectivity test design
-CO2 injector well: design, drilling and monitoring. Well integrity assessment for existing wells
-Regulation and permits
-CCS Business case. Main mechanisms to support CCS project (tax credit, carbon pricing, others)
-Environment considerations and Monitoring plan
-Societal and public perception
