Organized by the EAGE Technical Community on Geomechanics. “Perspectives on Geomechanics in the Energy Landscape” brings together three talks exploring the evolving role of geomechanics across modern energy systems. From defining mechanical limits in subsurface infrastructure and expanding geomechanics beyond drilling into full-field stewardship, to ensuring the integrity of sustainable energy storage systems, the session highlights how coupled geomechanical understanding is essential for safe, resilient, and low-carbon energy development.
