Details
This session will explore methodologies currently employed at an organisation scale and project level scale to measure and track
value added by the implementation of digital technologies in the oil and gas or energy industry. The intent is to communicate
discrete examples on value tracking pre and post investment as the methodologies may be different and explore some of the
challenges with value tracking at different scales and with time.
Considerations:
- How is value estimated pre-investment and how is this carried forward post investment? What works well and what are the challenges in doing this? Is it consistently applied across the portfolio?
- What is the value-added post deployment in application of ML or automation in accelerating exploration and reservoir management decisions or in operations, wells and other entities in the Energy Industry?
- How has the value added being tracked in terms of productivity savings in time and cost in different organisations?
Session format:
- 3 x 25 minute presentations
