Mr Sánchez López Alberto
Leading Geologist
Equinor Asa
Mapping Upper Cretaceous depositional environments from seismic facies in the Colorado and Argentina basins
4:30 PM - 4:50 PMBiography
MSc in geotechnical engineering by UB-UPC, Barcelona, Spain. MSc in petroleum geophysics by IFP School, Paris, France. Alberto started his career as geophysicist in Total in 2003, working in regional and prospect evaluations in the Niger Delta and in the North Atlantic. From 2007, Alberto became a reservoir geophysicist in Statoil, working in many field development projects. After 6 years he moved back to exploration, and since then, he has been working as a geoscientist and project leader in access opportunities and regional evaluations across the whole of Africa and South America. During the last 5 years his work has focused on Argentina, where Equinor holds 8 exploration licenses.
Rodriguez Norelis

The Rio Grande Rise and associated mechanisms for distribution of CO2 in Brazil Pre-Salt reservoirs
4:50 PM - 5:10 PMBiography
Norelis D. Rodriguez is a geoscientist with Chevron’s
Brazil exploration team in Houston, Texas. She received her degree in geological
engineering from Universidad Central de Venezuela
in 2001 and her M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in geology
from the University of Oklahoma in 2007 and 2012 respectively.
Mr Henrique Serratt
PhD student
UNISINOS
Characterization and Economic Implications of Cretaceous Magmatism in the Pelotas and Punta del Este Basins
5:10 PM - 5:30 PMBiography
Henrique Serratt is a PhD. candidate in Regional Geology at the University of BrasĂlia (UnB). He obtained his undergraduate degree in Geology from the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos in 2018, and subsequently completed his master's degree at the same institution in 2021. With a specialization in Stratigraphy and Basin Evolution, his expertise lies in geophysics and geochemistry. He has developed strong skills in these areas, with his primary focus revolving around seismic analysis and geochemical investigation of volcanic rocks.
