Facundo Pagan has a degree in Geological Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires. He then completed specializations in Exploratory Prospecting (with the Petrobras University and the Federal University of Ouro Preto), specialization in Geophysics (with the Petrobras University and the University of Campinas) and specialization in Reservoir Engineering (Technological Institute of Buenos Aires). Throughout 19 years, he has participated in exploratory projects in the main onshore and offshore basins of Argentina.

Dag Helland-Hansen, has a Geophysics MSc degree from the NTNU and later a Geology MSc degree from Heriot-Watt University in Scotland. He has through his career worked various technical and managerial roles in exploration and appraisal projects in Norwegian and International Oil companies, most notably Chevron and Aker BP.
Currently in his role as Global Exploration Advisor in EMGS, he works with business development. He has authored or co-authored a number of technical papers amongst others on seismic inversion, geologic modelling and the application of CSEM.

Derek is currently a Regional Geophysical Advisor for PGS and has over 27 years of seismic industry experience. Prior to joining PGS in 2016, he spent over 19 years at Schlumberger in a variety of positions in Houston, Calgary, and Kuala Lumpur. He is excited to be part of this workshop and to participate in many good discussions.
