Biography
Randy Partap is a geologist with approximately 20 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, in the areas of Exploration, Development and Production. He has a wealth of experience in Caribbean Geology, Basin Analysis, Prospect generation /maturation, reservoir scale geology and neotectonics/shallow hazards. Currently he works with BP as part of their Trinidad Renewal Team. He is also BP’s Subject Matter Expert in the Field of Structural Geology Gas Reservoir Integration. Randy holds a BSc from the University of the West Indies, Mona Jamaica, and a MSc from Leeds University England. Randy enjoys gardening, looking at rocks, finding faults in everything, teaching, and coaching young professionals.

Biography
Roberto Juncken is a geologist with specialized expertise in seismic interpretation, prospect evaluation, and exploration risking. He holds Geology and Geophysics degrees from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and the Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ).
His professional experience includes working within subsurface exploration teams at major international oil and gas operators, including Equinor, Shell, Wintershall Dea, and Chevron. His technical scope has covered basin and petroleum systems analysis, regional and play-based exploration, seismic stratigraphic interpretation, prospect definition, volumetric and risk assessment, and bid round technical evaluation.
Roberto currently holds the position as Senior Exploration Geoscientist and Team Lead at Viridien, where he leads exploration activities across North America, South America, and the Caribbean. His role focuses on delivering regional- to prospect-scale subsurface studies in support of business development and licensing decisions, using Viridien's multi-client seismic.

Biography
Magdalena Vicente is a highly experienced Senior Geophysicist with over 25 years of international experience in subsurface evaluation and technical leadership across a diverse range of geological basins. She combines deep technical expertise with a strong track record of leading complex exploration evaluations and providing high-quality subsurface insights to support strategic and investment decision-making.
Her expertise encompasses regional basin evaluation, 2D and 3D structural and stratigraphic seismic interpretation, seismic attribute analysis and integration, rock physics modelling, prospect generation, and exploration risking, among other areas.
Throughout her career, Magdalena has led the technical evaluation of exploration opportunities across key assets and portfolios, helping to build exploration strategy, portfolio development, and subsurface decision-making. She has also led subsurface expertise in support of government-led licensing and bid rounds, assessing exploration potential and informing strategic acreage decisions.
Working across multidisciplinary teams, Magdalena integrates geophysical, geological, and broader subsurface datasets to develop robust interpretations, identify and mature exploration opportunities, manage subsurface uncertainty, and support confident, evidence-based decisions.

Biography
Kareem James is a Geologist at bp Trinidad and Tobago (bpTT) and currently works in the Greater Cassia Resource Progression Team. Over the past six years, he has gained experience across reservoir development, infrastructure-led exploration, major projects, and well planning. He graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Petroleum Geoscience from The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine. Outside of work, Kareem enjoys rugby, sailing, and spending time with family and friends.
