The role of Young Professionals for the future of geoscience in Norway

Welcome to the EAGE YP Meeting Oslo 2020
An event in collaboration with the CTBT Young Professionals Network
The EAGE special interest community of YPs and the Young Professional Network of CTBT (the community of young scientists and technical professionals working on monitoring and verification of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty) have joined forces to organize a YP Meeting in Oslo.
The event will present different career tracks available to early career geoscientists and discuss them in the perspective of the specific context of Norway. Multiple aspects of geoscience will be covered, including O&G, nuclear monitoring, near surface geoscience, deep-sea mining, for a truly multidisciplinary perspective!
After the talks, there will be time to network with the speakers presenting about their current technical work and career path. Speakers will focus on current and future challenges faced by industry and academia in Norway as well as the opportunities for young geoscientists to contribute to a better future.
The event is free to attend but we kindly ask you to register in advance.
Everyone is welcome to join, without age restrictions!
