As part of the technical committee, I am delighted to invite you to attend this event, which will be held from November 25th to 27th, 2024, in Rio de Janeiro.The impact of global warming around the globe is undeniable. The industry's main challenge is reducing GHG emissions while securing energy sufficiency. Brazil can potentially play an important role in the world's decarbonization efforts.Contrasting with the global situation, less than 20% of the country's GHG emissions come from the energy sector, and almost 50% of the country's energy matrix is related to renewable resources.
