First EAGE Workshop on
Induced Seismicity
1-3 March 2021, The Hague, The Netherlands
This workshop is now part of the new EAGE GeoTech Conference and Exhibition and has been moved to 1-3 March 2021 in The Hague, The Netherlands. To submit an abstract or register see the EAGE GeoTech Conference website at www.geotech.eage.org.
1-3 March, The Hague, The Netherlands
The First EAGE Workshop on Induced Seismicity provides an opportunity to explore the latest developments in monitoring, modelling and mitigation of induced seismicity. Over three structured days of technical talks and discussions we will seek to examine the mechanisms and dominant factors related to the occurrence of felt induced events. Following an examination of the science, we will also explore how the geomechanical, seismological and geological expertise can best guide science based regulations, technical specifications and effective mitigation strategies.
Registration Opens | 10 April 2020
Abstract Submission Deadline | 1 November 2020
Early Registration Deadline | 10 January 2021
Regular Registration Deadline | 10 February 2021
First Induced Seismicity Workshop | 22-24 March 2021 |
We encourage submissions on all theoretical and practical aspects within a wide range of geological settings and industrial applications including: geothermal, mining, construction, oil and gas production, natural gas and CO2 storage, hydraulic fracturing, and wastewater injection.
