Dr. Matthias Raab

Dr Raab is the Chief Executive of CO2CRC and committed to Australia’s energy transition as a leader in the global scientific, engineering, energy, and resources sectors. Passionate about finding innovative solutions to energy, climate and resource challenges, Dr Raab’s 25+ year career has spanned academia, government, industry, and the not-for-profit sectors, and involved collaborating with international leaders and experts in their fields.


Noriani Yati Mohamad

Noriani Yati Mohamad is currently Head, Resource Development & Management for Sarawak. She is focused on strategizing the overall development and management of oil & gas resources in Sarawak, Malaysia.

Since joining PETRONAS in 1994 as a Production Technologist, Yati has held various positions as Reservoir Surveillance Engineer,Joint Venture Engineer, Planning Manager and Well Intervention Manager.

After 20 years with PETRONAS Carigali, she joined Malaysia Petroleum Management in 2014 to assume the role of host government and manage Petroleum Arrangement contractors. She played a key role in the unitization of several Malaysia-Brunei fields, and strategizing the integrated development of sour gas fields in Sarawak. She is currently leading the development of Upstream Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) Framework  & Operating Model.

In 2020, Yati became the 1stfemale to be appointed as PETRONAS Skill Group Advisor for Petroleum Engineering, andis currently the only female technical advisor in PETRONAS.

Yati holds a Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School Of Mines, USA.


Dr. Rachmat Sule

Dr. Mohammad Rachmat Sule is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) - Indonesia. He received his both B.Sc and M.Sc in Geophysics from ITB in 1994 and 1996, obtained Ph.D in Geophysics from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology – Germany in 2004 and did post-doc in Kyoto University in 2010. Currently he is the Manager of the National Center of Excellence (CoE) for CCS/CCUS and the Manager of the Center for CO2 and Flared Gas Utilization of ITB.


Daein Cha

With over 20 years of Oil and Gas (O&G) and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) industry experience combined with extensive for profit and non-profit venture start up and management experience, Daein specializes in small and big scale energy business development, major capital project management, commodity sales and trading, and entrepreneurship. 

Daein has taken on the role as the Founder and Director of Transborders Energy since November 2016, and as a Founder, Managing Director and CEO of deepC Store since August 2021. 


Dr. Monica Campi

Dr Monica Campi has an Honours degree in Science from Monash University and a PhD in geology from Deakin University. She has more than 10 years experience in greenhouse gas storage having worked on the Victorian Geological Carbon Storage (VicGCS) Initiative at GeoScience Victoria within the Victorian State Government and with the National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator. She is now the Technical Manager – Exploration for petroleum and greenhouse gas storage at the National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator.
