If there is one skill shared by every geophysicist, it is the ability to adapt to changing conditions. While this skill is usually applied to field conditions, it also serves us all well in these complicated times.

We have all had to find new ways of doing business, new ways of exploring the subsurface, new ways of communicating with our peers. I for one, like the Olympics branding “Olympics 2020NE”. It’s a clever statement intended to recognize this year while embracing optimism of the future.
