In 2021, with the merge with the SRM conference; Because Heavy metal and metalloid (for example, Hg, Ar, Se) geochemistry also presents serious concerns and can co-occur with H2S, we now also invite abstracts which specifically address “Metals Risk Management” throughout the petroleum lifecycle, from source rock deposition to production.
- Sedimentary Organic Matter (OM): Primary Sulfur Incorporation, Deposition, Preservation, Sulfurized OM, Thermal Cracking
- Reservoir Geochemistry: Secondary Sulfur Incorporation (Microbial and Thermal Alterations), Geological and Geochemical Souring Mechanisms
- Sulfur Prediction from Basin to Reservoir Models
- Development and Production of H2S and Sulfur Bearing Fluids in Petroleum and Geothermal
- New Analytical Tools for Characterization of Petroleum Sulfur Compounds
- Regional Case Studies
