Eliane Petersohn

Eliane Petersohn has undergraduate degree in Geology (BS) From Federal University of Parana and master’s degree in exploration geology from the same university. She also has postgraduate studies in regulatory law at IBMEC - Brazilian Institute of Capital Markets. Ms. Petersohn joined Brazilian National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) in 2006 as a geologist. In 2010 she was appointed Chief Geologist, becoming responsible for the selection and geological evaluation of the areas for oil and gas bidding rounds in Brazil. In 2019 she became upstream advisor to the board of directors, being responsible for providing guidance and technical insight to support the BOD decisions on public policies and regulations. Ms. Petersohn has spent the past 15 years working on the ANP’s large-scale strategic projects, conducting geological evaluation for bidding rounds and developing a multiyear geological and geophysical plan for the agency. She was responsible for coordinating the first phase of the onerous assignment process, which authorized the Brazilian Federal Government to onerously assign to NOC Petrobras up to 5 billion barrels. Ms. Petersohn was also directly involved in the location of two wells, which discovered two of the country's largest oil fields (Buzios and Mero fields).


Luiz Fernando De Ros

RioGrande do Sul Federal University - Profesor 

Luiz Fernando De Ros worked for 9 years at the Training and at the Reservoir divisions, and at the Research Center of Petrobras, before joining the RioGrande do Sul Federal University (UFRGS) at Porto Alegre, southern Brazil, in1990. After a PhD in 1996 from Uppsala University, Sweden, he has been performing extensive teaching and research at UFRGS on the Petrology of reservoirs and associated rocks, in cooperation with Petrobras, Shell,Chevron, Equinor and other companies. He has been working with the extraordinary Pre-salt rocks since 2007, having published several articles about them.


Antonio carlos capeleiro pinto

Pre - Sal Petróleo SA  - Gerente Executivo de Contratos 

Mr. Antonio Pinto holds a Master´s Degree in Petroleum Engineering from UNICAMP, bachelor´s in Electrical Engineer from Military Engineering Institute (IME), MBA in Advanced Business Management from COPPE-UFRJ. He has 38 years of experience in offshore oil fields development and management, being 36 years in Petrobras, with a strong background on reservoir engineering and offshore development projects management. In mid-90 he coordinated the reservoir area and development plan design for the Marlim Complex in deep-water Campos Basin. In 2002 he implemented and headed the Offshore Heavy Oil Technological Program at Petrobras R&D Center. In 2002 – 2005, he managed the Reservoir Technology group at the Petrobras R&D Center (CENPES). Later, for almost 10 years, he headed the technical area (General Manager) in charge of the design and development of the Santos Basin Pre-Salt Cluster fields, in ultradeep water, Santos Basin, Brazil. In 2018-2019, Antonio was the Reservoir Executive Manager at Petrobras. Currently, at Pre-Sal Petroleo S.A. (PPSA), he is the Executive Manager for the PSC of the giant Buzios Field, in ultra-deep-water Santos Basin Pre-Salt. In 2008 he was distinguished with the SPE Brazil Technical Award, as Professional of the year, category Technical Excellence. In 2015 Antonio received the OTC Brazil award for individuals, for his individual contribution for the development of deep and ultradeep water fields.  In 2021 Antonio was elected member of the Brazilian Academy of Engineering.

Researcher with 30 years experience in carbonate systems, working in oil and gas research, exploration and production projects since 2004. 

The last six years working in the pre-salt, specifically on Equinor BM-C-33, Bacalhau field projects and on analog fields.
