The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is proclaimed the ecological demonstration project for giant panda ex-situ conservation covering an area of 3.07 square kilometers. It is sanctuary for giant pandas, red pandas, and other endangered wild animals exclusive to China with pride.
Jinsha site is the urban center of the ancient Shu Kingdom, the center of the ancient civilization of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, from the 12th century BC to the 7th century BC (approximately 3,200-2,600 years ago).
