Prof. Zhang Xiumei has been in the Institute of Acoustics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IACAS) since 2008. Her research focuses on the interdisciplinary application of acoustics and geophysics, particularly the acoustics of complex multiphase porous media for underground carbon and hydrogen storage. She has authored more than 80 publications.
