Event Overview

Active integration of Sub-surface data: Building the bridge from Geophysics to Well and Reservoir Management.

During the life circle of the oil and gas field, different amount of sub-surface data becomes available and/or is needed to answer many questions and uncertainties that need to be addressed. Since more than a decade ago, the integration of this data has been, in most cases, via the use of static and dynamic models that gave the best approximation of the understanding of the reservoir at each point of time.

However, in many occasions, either quick iterations of these models when new data is available has been difficult to implement, or they do not have the level of detail nor include the uncertainty ranges that is needed to take some quick decisions or to evaluate all feasible scenarios. In these cases, it is when the active integration of all the team, communication and knowledge sharing to try to answer specific questions, become a key factor. Constant interaction all the way from geophysics to geologist, petrophysicist, reservoir engineers and petroleum engineers knowing how each discipline can help and complement the other is key to take the best fit-for-purpose and informed reservoir management decisions.

This online event will provide an opportunity to share knowledge, case studies, techniques and workflows pertaining to the understanding of the subsurface and integration of different types of data, which allows an integrated decision making process from field development plans to day to day well and reservoir management.

Who Should Attend?
Geologists, Geophysicists, Petrophysicists, 3D Modelers, Reservoir Engineers, Management Engineers, Asset Team Leaders and Decision makers involved in the data gathering, interpretation, and execution of static/dynamic models and decisions for Field Development Plans and Reservoir Management.
