Visa Information

There are multiple ways to obtain a visa to enter Indonesia, depending on your nationality and purpose of travel.

  • Visa on Arrival (VoA) / Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VoA): Eligible foreign travellers may obtain a Visa on Arrival (VoA) at designated international airports and border checkpoints in Indonesia, or apply in advance for an Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VoA) via the official Indonesian Immigration website.

The VoA / e-VoA generally allows a stay of up to 30 days and may be extended once for an additional 30 days. Applicants must hold a passport valid for at least six (6) months from the date of arrival.

  • Visitor Visa (e-Visa): Travellers who are not eligible for Visa on Arrival, or who require a different visa category, should apply for an online Visitor Visa (e-Visa) in advance through the Indonesian Immigration e-Visa system.

Alternatively, visa applications may be submitted via the nearest Indonesian Embassy or Consulate in the applicant’s country of residence.

Delegates are advised to check the visa requirements applicable to their nationality prior to travel.

Official Visa Invitation Letter

Invitation letters for visa purposes will be issued to those who have registered and paid.

Please contact us via registration@eage.org in case you need an invitation letter. In order to obtain an invitation letter, the online invitation letter request form must be completed.

Please note that EAGE cannot guarantee the usability of an invitation letter. Please refer to the nearest consulate in your country of residence for specific visa requirements.

EAGE members can automatically generate an invitation letter in My EAGE (log in to the EAGE website and go to 'My Services - Invitation Letter'). If you registered as a non-member and membership is included in your registration fee, please note that you will receive your login details for the EAGE website within 14 working days.

We advise delegates who require a visa to start their application process three months prior to the event as in specific cases the visa process may be lengthy (up to two months).
