Sinopec Geophysical Research Institute

The Sinopec Geophysical Research Institute is the only specialized seismic exploration technology research and development institution in China, positioned as the "One Department and Three Centers" within the group company. This includes: the Geophysical Technology Development Advisory Department, the High-Tech and Key Core Geophysical Technology R&D Center, the Geophysical Software R&D and Promotion Center, and the Major Geophysical Engineering Technology Support Center. The institute covers all geophysical business areas except for field acquisition and undertakes major national and Sinopec projects in geophysical exploration, focusing on independent research in technology and software development, while providing comprehensive geophysical technical support and services to headquarters and oilfield enterprises.
