Please submit abstracts on the following topics:

Exploration in a maturing Pre-salt play:

  • Pre-salt exploration and production in conjugate margins and worldwide: learnings of the last 5-10 years
  • Sharing of knowledge and methodologies from pre-salt areas of the conjugate margins – Latin America and West Africa.
  • How far/deep can we push pre-salt exploration in passive margin salt basins?
  • Pre-salt fields peak production – when?
  • Current understanding of CO2 presence in the pre-salt traps: origin, timing of emplacement, interaction with other fluids and impacts on petrophysical interpretation

Optimizing reservoir characterization, field development strategies, and recovery:

  • Multidisciplinary reservoir characterization: best practices
  • EOR in pre-salt fields.
  • Seismic imaging and monitoring of pre-salt reservoirs
  • Reducing uncertainty in Pre-salt carbonate reservoir models
  • Advances in production technology in the Pre-salt
  • 4D seismic methodologies/advances/monitoring.
  • Geomechanical risks and their prevention

Getting the most from our data; digital innovation, imaging advancements, and emerging technologies:

  • Latest geophysical methods/advances for pre-salt imaging.
  • Operational improvements in nodes seismic acquisition
  • Advances on petroseismic modeling in carbonate reservoirs: rock-fluid interaction and time-lapse sensitivity
  • Best practices on pre-salt seismic processing
  • Importance of Wide Azimuth seismic data in the characterization of fractures on pre-salt reservoirs
  • Reservoir monitoring with Multiphysics geophysics
