Martín Argueta
Asociación Geohidrológica Mexicana (AGM)


A specialist in hydrogeology, he has worked in both the government and private sectors. In the government, he was responsible for the evaluation of wells for the water supply to Mexico City and held management positions in the Mexican Geological Service. In the private sector, he has participated in more than 150 geohydrological evaluation projects for companies such as Mazda, BMW and Grupo Mexico. He is a promoter of automated aquifer monitoring and the implementation of multi-parameter probes.

He has taught at ESIA and UNAM, and has collaborated in the training of personnel in various institutions, including international work in Jamaica and Nicaragua. He is currently a graduate professor at UNAM.
