Meet some of our Speakers Line up

Dr. Kenneth Esler
CTO at Stone Ridge Technology

Dr. Esler is CTO at Stone Ridge Technology at their headquarters near Baltimore in the US.  After post-doctoral appointments at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications and at the Carnegie Institution of Washington in computational physics, he moved to SRT to develop HPC software for the energy industry in 2010.  For the last decade, he has focused on increasing the performance of reservoir simulation through the development of fine-grained parallel algorithms and software which run on GPUs. Dr. Esler holds a bachelor's degree in Physics with Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a PhD in Physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

Dr. Christof Stork
Chief Scientist at Land Seismic Noise Specialists

Christof Stork has 30+ years of experience in the seismic field and a track record of entrepreneurial successes with various segments of the industry. He prides himself on having a track record of identifying new technology trends and producing production technology. He has 3 times had a documented benefit of >$1 billion on the industry. (Making RTM practical by speeding up FD/RTM, Imaging GOM subsalt that led to sales of >$700 million, improving land seismic acquisition for scattering noise, reflection tomography for PSDM)
