Welcome to the First EAGE Conference on Basin and Petroleum Systems Modeling
The EAGE Basin & Petroleum Systems Analysis community recognizes a clear gap in dedicated conferences and training opportunities focused on Basin and Petroleum Systems Analysis. This comes at a time when exploration activity worldwide is increasing significantly, with industry professionals applying these practices not only in hydrocarbon provinces but also across emerging new energy ventures.To connect and support our global community, EAGE is pleased to introduce a dedicated Basin & Petroleum Systems Analysis Conference, scheduled for 17–19 November 2026 in Houston, Texas (USA).
This conference aims to bring together practitioners and experts from operators, contractors, software providers, and academia to discuss the latest developments and innovations across all components of Basin & Petroleum Systems Analysis—including basin evolution and tectonics, petroleum systems and fluid modeling, and integrated basin analysis. Special attention will be given to novel applications in new energies and the growing use of AI in large-scale modeling and analysis.
Importantly, the event is open to both EAGE members and non-members, ensuring broad participation and knowledge exchange across the entire community.
