Dr. Lino Yovan is a postdoctoral researcher at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile,specializing in hydrogeology and environmental engineering. He earned his PhD from theManipal Institute of Technology, focusing on submarine groundwater discharge (SGD) to theArabian Sea. His research interests include hydrogeochemical dynamics at the interface ofsurface water and groundwater, with a particular emphasis on SGD and its environmentalimpacts. Dr. Yovan has contributed to several publications addressing topics such as SGDquantification methodologies and the hydrochemistry of subterranean estuaries.
