Keynote: Imaging and Interpretation of Complex Mobile Shales: Case Study Offshore Nigeria

Emily Kay is a Principal Geoscientist at TGS with 14 years of experience in seismic interpretation, regional basin evaluation, and exploration geoscience. She holds an MSc in Integrated Petroleum Geoscience from the University of Aberdeen and has worked with PGS, ION, and TGS. As Technical Lead for TGS's Eastern Hemisphere Geoscience team, Emily oversees datasets across West Africa, including Nigeria, Gabon, Namibia, São Tomé and Príncipe, and South Africa. Her expertise lies in basin evolution, prospectivity, and applying advanced geoscience workflows to reduce exploration risk and unlock new opportunities.
