Prof. Ir. Benyamin Sapiie is the Head of Geodynamic and Sedimentology Research Group FITB at Institute of Technology Bandung, Indonesia. Prior to his current role, he had worked at the University of Texas, Austin USA, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Head of Graduate Program in Geological Engineering, Dean of Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology ITB and Geology and Oil & Gas Industry Consultant. Benyamin received his PhD in Structural Geology and Tectonics from the University of Texas at Austin, USA in 1998. He is also the member of several professional societies; GSA, AAPG, IAGI, IPA, FOSI, AGU and EAGE.
I am Pierre-Olivier Bruna, I am an outcrop structural geologist by background developing skills in subsurface modelling over the past 7 years. I obtained my PhD in structural geology/hydrogeology in Aix-Marseille University (Fra) in 2013. I worked for the Northern Territory Geological Survey in Darwin (Aus) from 2013 to 2016. There I was in charge of the structural characterization of the greater McArthur basin targeted for Unconventional hydrocarbon resources exploration. I moved to Delft University of Technology in late 2016 to develop workflow of fracture characterization and fracture predictions in carbonate rocks. Mid 2021 I was promoted Assistant Professor at TU Delft.
Luca MICARELLI is a geologist with 15 years of experience in structural geology and tectonics. His work has been focused on: (i) characterization of fractured reservoirs and fractured rock volumes by integration of quantitative statistics, subsurface data and well core analysis and interpretation, analysis of the interactions faults/fractures vs. fluids/diagenesis by integration of field work analysis, petrography, microstructural and geochemical studies; (ii) seismic interpretation, structural restauration in deformed foreland basins, basin analysis.
At the present, he is a reservoir geologist specialized in fractured reservoir characterization and modelling, structural interpretation and restoration techniques. He is a full-time member of the Structural Geology and Fractured Reservoirs Team (SGF) in Beicip-Franlab.
Arya Disiyona is currently the Senior Manager of Gas Field Development at SKK Migas (Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities Republic of Indonesia). Prior to his current position, he was the Apprentice at ExxonMobil, Geologist at Lemigas, and Senior Geologist at Kangean Energy Indonesia Ltd. He received his education in Geological Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB).
