EAGE expects all involved in the build up, show days and break down of the exhibition at all levels, to comply with their legal duties. This includes cooperating with us on health and safety matters and taking care of their own health and safety and that of others, whether from within or from outside the company, who may be affected by their actions.
Accessing the exhibition halls during build up and break down is at your own risk. During build up and break down the usage of alcohol and drugs is strictly forbidden. Children are not allowed to enter the exhibition during this period, pregnant women are strongly advised not to enter the exhibition. EAGE reserves the right to withhold access to the exhibition halls at all times.
In assembly and dismantling period is obliged to wear a helmet, high-visibility vest and safety shoes.
It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to ensure that their stand designer, constructor, employees, exhibition staff, temporary staff or any relevant third party complies with all rules & regulations including the latest legislation regarding health and safety at work. We advise to start the day with a safety briefing, providing the information that is provided in this online exhibition manual.
In addition to the standard Health & Safety rules and regulations from the EAGE and IFEMA, more information in relation to new protocols and measurements will be published here in due time.
It is obliged to wear safety shoes, helmet and high vis vest during the build up and break down of the exhibition.
Despite of all the security measures EAGE takes, we call your attention to the fact that all event venues incur an increased risk of theft during build up, event days and break down. Therefore we advise you to never leave valuable items (such as AV equipment, laptops, tablets, purses, cell phones) unattended for any amount of time, during build up, break down and show days. Never leave your valuable possessions out of sight and we recommend either storing any valuable items in a secure location or keeping them on you at all times.

If your teams are operating in loading areas, they should be aware of the movement of traffic and should wear hi-visibility clothing as a minimum. Where you are able to drive a vehicle within the event perimeter your driver should be made aware that pedestrians have right of way at all times and there will be speed restrictions in place.
The restricted EAGE areas are only accessible with the correct accreditation. General daily and night security will be provided during build up, show days and break down opening hours. The ultimate responsibility of your booth and property lies with the individual exhibitor.
The organisers reserve the right to expel any person whose behavior or clothing is considered incompatible with the Event’s image or who refuses to comply with local safety regulations.
Our objective is to make your show experience as pleasant and worthwhile as possible. The cost of a few extra precautions is minimal compared to what you may have to pay to replace your stolen or lost items, and the hassles you would have to endure.
