Geological Society of France - House of Geology

The Geological Society of France (Société Géologique de France – SGF), founded in 1830, is dedicated to promoting the Earth sciences and fostering collaboration within the geological community. Bringing together researchers, professionals, and enthusiasts, the Society supports scientific exchange through publications, conferences, and field excursions. It also works to raise public awareness of geology’s role in understanding Earth’s history, managing natural resources, and addressing environmental challenges.

The Masterclass will take place in the historic Maison de la Géologie at 77 rue Claude Bernard (5th arrondissement). The venue is easily accessible by public transport, just a short walk from Censier-Daubenton or Port-Royal metro stations.
