SAGEEP provides geophysicists, engineers, geoscientists and end-users from around the world an opportunity to meet and discuss near-surface applications of geophysics and learn about recent developments in near-surface geophysics.
SAGEEP is internationally recognized as the leading conference on the practical application of shallow geophysics. Since 1988 at the Colorado School of Mines, the symposium has been held over a 5-day period at locations throughout the United States, with over 200 oral and poster presentations, several educational short courses and workshops, numerous vendor presentations, and a commercial exhibition. A set of proceedings, comprised of technical presentations, is distributed online.
1st Munitions Response Meeting
Technology, lessons learned, and new and developing guidance impact the munitions response program for industry and government every day. NAOC is excited about partnering with SAGEEP 2021, a forum for the munitions response industry and government to share new and upcoming innovations in our industry.
The National Association of Ordnance Contractors (NAOC) is an industry trade association representing members which collectively provide the full spectrum of munitions response services, including munitions detection, management and disposition; site characterization and remediation; geophysical surveying and data analysis; environmental sampling and analysis; regulatory support; research and development; and related environmental/ engineering services. Presenters will share their projects, programmatic lessons learned, and the impacts of new and developing guidance documents and requirements in performing munitions response.
