Mohamed is a senior energy industry leader, currently serving as the Front-End Development Manager for the North Kuwait Jurassic Gas (NKJG) asset. In his role, he leads multidisciplinary teams across subsurface, wells, facilities, projects, and commercial functions to shape and deliver complex multi-billion-dollar upstream gas developments.With a proven track record in integration, strategic planning, and project governance, Mohamed has led the development of significant investment opportunities, guided critical business decisions, and driven alignment across diverse stakeholder groups. His expertise spans gas field development, production optimization, integrated planning, supply chain transformation, and energy transition initiatives, with experience across a wide range of operating environments including Kuwait, the Netherlands, Russia, Iraq, the UAE, and Oman.Mohamed serves as a Director of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Kuwait Section and is a frequent speaker, panelist, session chair, and facilitator at regional and international industry conferences.

Abdullah is leading one of the northern offshore fields development and geosciences groups with over a decade of experience in the oil and gas industry. He has earned a master degree in reservoir characterization from King Fahad University for Petroleum & Minerals and a bachelor degree in Geological Sciences from University of Leeds

Hassan Karimi

Regional Director, OFSE Digital (MENAT), Baker Hughes

Hassan Karimi is a technology and business leader specializing in AI-enabled digital transformation for the energy industry. With more than 21 years of international experience, he has worked at the intersection of engineering, enterprise software, advanced analytics, and technology deployment across the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Latin America. As Regional Segment Director for OFSE Digital at Baker Hughes, Hassan leads strategic initiatives that translate AI, machine learning, automation, cloud, and edge-computing capabilities into measurable operational and business outcomes. His technical experience includes digital oilfield platforms, production optimization, flow assurance, integrated asset optimization, multiphase-flow simulation, engineering analytics, and enterprise digital workflows. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Reservoir Engineering and has led multidisciplinary teams delivering complex technology programs for major energy organizations. Hassan has received multiple awards for innovation, technical excellence, and services to the energy industry and petroleum engineering profession.

Dr. SanLinn Ismail Kaka 

Head, CPG Student Affairs Office, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM)

Dr. SanLinn I. Kaka received his Ph.D. in Earth Sciences from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, in 2006. He is currently a faculty member and Graduate Coordinator in the Department of Geosciences at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM).His research interests include engineering seismology, reservoir characterization and monitoring, ground-motion relationships, and near-surface geophysics. His recent research focuses on the application of machine learning in the oil and gas industry, particularly for reservoir characterization, seismic data analysis, and microseismic monitoring. His work also addresses the detection and localization of microseismic events, fracture growth, and the influence of pre-existing fractures during multistage hydraulic fracturing of unconventional reservoirs.

ALAA WALEED AL-SALEH

Unit Lead for AI & KwIDF, KOC

Graduated from the Australian College of Kuwait with a Bachelor's Degree in Oil and Gas Engineering in 2012. Joined Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) in May 2013 as a Petroleum Engineer in the North Kuwait Jurassic Gas, KwIDF Team. Since then, she has progressed through various technical and leadership roles, contributing to the transformation and digitalization of the Gas Asset. Currently, she is the Unit Lead for AI & KwIDF, driving the development and implementation of AI and digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency, decision-making, and production performance. In parallel, supporting & leading the Production Optimization initiatives, focusing on maximizing production potential, improving asset performance, and delivering sustainable operational improvements through data-driven and innovative approaches.
