Dr. Abdalla is an accomplished sedimentary basin analysis expert specializing in the stratigraphic architectural evolution of carbonate platforms. With a PhD degree from Missouri University of Science and Technology, USA, Dr. Abdalla has contributed significantly to the understanding of the evolution of carbonate platforms within the Sirte rift basin in Libya. His work has been featured in many first and second quartile (Q1 and Q2) journals and international conferences. His subjects of interest include sedimentary basin analysis, sequence stratigraphy, sedimentology, and petroleum geology.
