TAQA Geothermal is a Saudi-based energy company focused on developing and deploying geothermal solutions across power generation, district cooling, and integrated thermal applications. The company operates as a joint venture between TAQA and Reykjavik Geothermal, combining execution capability with global geothermal expertise across the full project lifecycle, from resource assessment and drilling to surface facilities and commercialization.

The company is advancing a portfolio of strategic projects in Saudi Arabia, alongside international execution in Europe and early-stage market development in international Geothermal Markets. TAQA Geothermal’ s approach emphasizes scalable deployment through phased development, starting with demonstration projects and progressing to commercial-scale operations.

Geothermal energy plays a critical role in delivering firm, low-carbon baseload power while enabling high-efficiency cooling and industrial heat applications. TAQA Geothermal is positioned to support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 by contributing to energy diversification, reducing reliance on conventional fuels, and enabling sustainable infrastructure development through integrated energy solutions.

Strataphy is a Khobar-based Cooling-as-a-Service company operating across the GCC. We replace conventional chiller and cooling-tower plant with PrimeLoop, our patented ground-source thermal rejection system, delivering the same cooling duty at a fraction of the energy and water cost.
Our commercial model removes the capital barrier. Strataphy finances, owns and operates the asset, and the client pays a monthly fee drawn from a share of verified energy and water savings over 15 to 25 year contracts, with no upfront CapEx.

The technology rests on subsurface competence. Our team built its careers in oil and gas across the region, and we apply that earth-strata intelligence, from existing well and formation data through ERT survey and thermal-plume simulation, to target wellfields, size heat rejection and engineer long-term performance across varied geologies. Three patent filings cover the PrimeLoop module and our design optimisation engine.

Deployments span industrial, commercial and data centre sites in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, with a signed pipeline led by hyperscale data centres. Continuous year-round load makes data centres the strongest fit for both client savings and asset returns, and they anchor our growth to 2030.
