Organizers

The European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) is a global professional, not-for-profit association for geoscientists and engineers with approximately 19,000 members worldwide. It provides a global network of commercial and academic professionals to all members. The association is truly multi-disciplinary and international in form and pursuits.

All members of EAGE are professionally involved in (or studying) geophysics, petroleum exploration, geology, reservoir engineering, mining and mineral exploration, civil engineering, tunneling and environmental matters. EAGE operates two divisions: the Oil & Gas Geoscience Division and the Near Surface Geoscience Division.

EAGE organizes the following activities for its members:

  • Events (conferences, exhibitions, workshops)
  • Publications (journals, books)
  • Educational Programs (short courses, webinars, lectures)
  • Student Programs

La Asociación Mexicana de Geólogos Petroleros (AMGP) is a scientific-technical organization and is constituted by professionals dedicated to petroleum geology and other related professions, applied to oil exploration and production and other energy resources, grouped in Regional Delegations that depend on a National Directive.

The AMGP is a professional organization of geoscientists with more than 1,000 members in Mexico and abroad. It was founded on November 23, 1949 by a group of enthusiastic geologists, with the objective of "promoting geological science, especially as it relates to oil and natural gas, boosting oil and natural gas technology and encouraging any improvement in the methods of exploration and exploitation of these substances, develop the spirit of scientific research among its members and disseminate related facts in the geology and technology of oil and natural gas "
