Information for Presenters

We are glad to have you sharing your knowledge at one of our workshops! Please find below all useful information to help you prepare for your presentation. If you still have questions please send an e-mail to mai@eage.org

Presenters Confirmation

Kindly confirm if you or a co-author will be presenting during the workshop by 1 July 2021 by emailing mai@eage.org

Technical Programme

Oral Presentations

- Oral presenters will be allocated 20 minutes (15 minutes presentation and 5 minutes Q&A).
- Oral presenters will be required to send a 15 minute pre-recorded presentation (details below).
- It is mandatory for presenters to use the workshop template (download link below).
- An integral part of a technical presentation is the technical discussion. The author should be prepared and able to discuss their paper with their peers in the audience during the discussion/ Q&A slot. The discussion will be facilitated by the session chair.

Poster Presentations

- Presenters will be required to share a 5 minute video recording of their presentation that will be added to the poster gallery, available for attendees to view at all times during IMOG.
- The live poster presentations have been allocated in the technical programme on 15 September 2021 under Poster Session: Petroleum and Coal Geochemistry 3. During this time slot, presenters will be able to give a live presentation. Given that many delegates would have viewed the 5 minute video by this date, we recommend presenters to use this time for discussions and answering questions.
- It is mandatory for presenters to use the workshop PPT template (download link below).

If a speaker is not able to present their own paper, they may be represented by one of their co-authors. Again, to enable a meaningful technical discussion, the alternative speaker should be familiar with the presented work and its background.
