He is a Vice President at Viridien, managing the global research team and supporting global production. He received his B.S. in Geophysics from Peking University (1997) and his Ph.D. in Geophysics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2006). He joined CGGVeritas (now Viridien) in 2009, where he developed diverse research interests such as demultiple, denoising, data regularization, deghosting, designature, multi-sensor processing technology, wave propagation, wave-equation Kirchhoff migration, least-squares migration, and full-waveform inversion. He has published more than 60 technical papers covering a variety of these topics.
