Denes Vigh

SLB

He has an M.S. in Geophysics.He started working for Hungarian Exploration Co. and currently with SLB. After SLB acquisition of STAAG Imaging in 2008 He first managing then advising the FWI/RTM center of excellence within SLB.

Ping Wang

Viridien

He is a Vice President at Viridien, managing the global research team and supporting global production. He received his B.S. in Geophysics from Peking University (1997) and his Ph.D. in Geophysics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2006). He joined CGGVeritas (now Viridien) in 2009, where he developed diverse research interests such as demultiple, denoising, data regularization, deghosting, designature, multi-sensor processing technology, wave propagation, wave-equation Kirchhoff migration, least-squares migration, and full-waveform inversion. He has published more than 60 technical papers covering a variety of these topics.

Dr. Andreas Ellmauthaler

Halliburton

He is the Technical Advisor for Halliburton’s subsea fiber-optic sensing product line. Within Halliburton, he has held prior roles in technology development and product management where we was responsible for the development and productization of novel fiber-optic sensing solutions for the oil and gas industry. He received his B.Sc. degree in telecommunications engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Salzburg, Austria, in 2007 and his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2014. He is the author of over 50 peer-reviewed scientific publications and holds more than 15 international patents.

Tara Brothers

Shell

Is a seasoned leader in Geophysics with extensive experience driving successful projects across diverse international landscapes. She served for the last six years as Manager of Vendor Relations in Shell, where she led a small team delivering a large Geophysical contract portfolio for the Western Hemisphere and spearheads the adoption of innovative technologies such as FWI, sparse nodes and low frequencies.  Her career began with acquisition and processing positions at WesternGeco in the UK and the USA, where she honed her skills in offshore operations and client engagement. She joined Shell in 2002 working in the processing team based in Rijswijk, further roles included Team Lead for Seismic Processing at BSP, Brunei and Principal Geophysicist at SPDC, Nigeria. Her expertise extends to project assurance, quality control, and aligning Geophysical activities with business strategies. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Geophysics (Geology) from Liverpool University, Tara combines her academic foundation with practical operational experience. She is recognized for her leadership, stakeholder management skills, commitment to HSSE and mental health awareness.
