Desciption:
A very effective way to maximize an asset’s value is to make informative and sound economic decisions through utilizing of all available static and dynamic data in a timely manner. This can be accomplished through reducing turnover time of data processing, QC, interpretation, results’ analysis, modeling, and history matching and reservoir performance predictions. In another words, from raw data to information and then to knowledge, an iterative process that is repeated through the acquisition of any new data. This workshop aims to address different ways of inter-disciplinary collaboration and capitalize on cutting edge technology towards achieving live static and dynamic Models.
We encourage participants to bring latest developments in data management, processing, and interpretation, as well as their impact in synchronization of static and dynamic domains. Also, we are looking for ideas to automate repetitive processes and eliminate non-value added steps in the workflow. Our ultimate goal is to build a continuous modeling process that accounts for new data coming from field development activities that feeds into reserve assessment leading to economic decision making in real time.
For those interested in presenting and sharing remarkable projects, ideas, or methodologies, we are working on an abstract submission portal to be available in the coming weeks to receive your proposals.
Who Should Attend?
Geologists, Geophysicists, Petrophysicists, Modelers, Reservoir Engineers, Management Engineers, Asset Team Leaders and Decision makers involved in the data gathering, interpretation, construction, distribution, implementation, and update of the Geological/Simulation Model as platform for incorporating all the Know-how.
