Description:
The broadband revolution is complete and broadband seismic acquisition ubiquitous. It has given us a step change in quality of marine seismic data, driven partly by new acquisition methods, and partly by processing and imaging algorithms that more aggressively address the deficiencies in our data. As it was evolving, the notion of “broadband” challenged geophysicists to rethink their assumptions on what could be done with data processing. We look to continue this mindset by challenging what are now the conventional assumptions of broadband processing.
