Bill Shea

Bill Shea is CEO and co-founder of Sharp Reflections, a company using “Big Data” computing to enhance reservoir understanding using pre-stack seismic data. Bill has a PhD in Geology from Texas A&M University, and previously worked as a research geoscientist for Exxon (in Houston) and Statoil (in Norway). He developed the Pre-Stack Pro software with partners from Germany’s Fraunhofer Institute, and has led Sharp Reflections since its 2010 spin-off.

Dr Satyam Priyadarshy

Dr. Satyam Priyadarshy is a Quantum and Computational Scientist and is currently a Technology Fellow and the Chief Data Scientist at Halliburton, a global energy service company, where he leads the oil and gas industry’s first Center of Excellence for Big Data and Data Science. He is also the Managing Director of Halliburton’s India Center in Bangalore.

Dr. Priyadarshy is a globally recognized leader for his expertise in leveraging disruptive technologies, strategies, and talent transformation to increase business value. He has appeared as a keynote speaker at numerous international conferences and published research papers in many peer-reviewed journals and magazines and authored/coauthored a number of patents. His work has been profiled in Chemical and Engineering News, The Scientist, CNBC, Forbes, among others. Dr. Priyadarshy was named as the 2021-2022 SPE Distinguished Lecturer by the Society for Petroleum Engineer’s Society. He co-founded startups in Washington D.C. and Silicon Valley and serves on several advisory boards including SPE, SEG, OTC, ENGenious, and other global industry organizations like the Financial Times, Trescon, CEB and Frost. 

Dr. Priyadarshy also serves as an adjunct/visiting professor at Virginia Tech, Oklahoma State University, and a senior fellow of cybersecurity at the International Center of Cybersecurity at George Mason University. Priyadarshy obtained his Ph.D. from IIT Bombay and MBA from The Pamplin School of Business at Virginia Tech. 


Riddhi Tody

Riddhi Tody is the Industry Leader for the Energy vertical at Microsoft, Asia Pacific.  She is currently based in Bangkok.

She has been working with energy companies over the last ten years. Prior to Microsoft, she worked for an oilfield ISV, and has been a technical advisor for oil and gas companies in various geographies. She has worked with customers in South East Asia, India, Indonesia, China and Australia, to support them in their digital ambitions for increased efficiency and reduced cost.

Riddhi is passionate about the role of technology in enabling transformation of oil and gas companies and protecting our environment by transitioning to cleaner energy sources. She believes technology is the catalyst that will enable the transformation of our industry, and will empower us to achieve more.



Pauziyah Hamid

Pauziyah Abdul Hamid has been working with PETRONAS for the last 30 years and is currently the Head of GeoImaging Technology, Group Research & Technology, PETRONAS. For the first 15 years of her career, she groomed as a technical person in production technology area and involved in R&D projects related to Drilling, Enhanced Oil Recovery and Flow Assurance. Thereafter, she moved to take up management position and leading the multi-disciplinary researchers and scientist of geologist, geophysicist, reservoir, and production technologist as well as chemist. 

She is now leading a GeoImaging Technology Research group and working on projects related to Artificial Intelligent, Machine Learning for the subsurface imaging.
