Workshop Update - 12 March 2020

Upon reviewing the situation and based on local advice regarding COVID-19, EAGE has decided to postpone the Eighth EAGE Workshop on Passive Seismic. This postponement, while unfortunate, gives us the opportunity to pursue an even higher quality in our technical programme. 

The new dates and workshop format will be announced shortly.

Coronavirus Update

EAGE would like to make clear that we are carefully monitoring the possible impact of any further spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) on all our events scheduled for the coming weeks. Our first priority is the health and welfare of the membership. Local organizers at all our venues around the world are co-operating closely with the appropriate health authorities to ensure that members are not put at risk. 

So far we have had no cause to cancel any event on our calendar, but all intending participants at upcoming meetings should be assured that we will issue immediate notice if advised that a particular conference, workshop, etc. is no longer appropriate in the current environment.

In the meantime we would suggest that members follow current assessments of the impact of the Coronavirus as indicated by the World Health Organization (WHO) on its website. If travelling, immigration advisories issued by individual countries should also be checked.
