TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Please read EAGE's exhibition terms and conditions and the RAI Documents carefully. You must adhere to these rules. Make sure to read these documents carefully and that you have all required documents with you onsite. Please note that these documents do not cover all information included in this online exhibition manual. 

Floor Loading

No fixings whatsoever may be made in the Hall Floors, which is made of asphalt (with the exception of concrete underneath the balcony). For floor loading and additional information please refer to the RAI's official document:

Carpet/Flooring

The floor in the Hall is made of asphalt (with the exception of concrete underneath the balcony). Exhibitors can put their carpet on top of this. The colour of the aisle carpet will be Royal Blue. 

The exhibition hall floor may be covered with panels, carpets, linoleum, raised platforms etc. Floor painting is prohibited. All floor coverings must be secured and maintained so that they do not cause a hazard. Fixing of floor coverings to the hall floor may only be carried out using approved tape. Other forms of fixing to the hall floor, such as cable clips, nails and bolts are strictly prohibited. When you are building a raised floor please note that a disabled ramp/access is compulsory.

Carpet and floor coverings can be ordered through Gielissen's webshop. Gielissen will email login details to the exhibitors, you can always contact them at eage@gielissen.nl.

Carpet is included with all Booth Package stands, the colour can be selected through the webshop of Gielissen. 

Raised Floors

The use of wooden platforms is recommended for stands with water and gas pipes and/or a lot of electrical wiring. Stands with raised floors should be made accessible to disabled visitors by employing sloping stand edges or by adding ramps (of sufficient width and without sharp-angled sides). This should be made recognizable to visitors.

A permit is required for stages and platforms of 60cm or higher. Please refer to the official RAI documents for more information:

Exhibitors who use such platforms should bear in mind that:

  • All stands should be accessible to all visitors, including people in a wheelchair;
  • Platforms and stages over 600mm high are classed as complex structures;
  • Platforms should be placed within the stand perimeter.

Electricity

Electricity in the exhibition halls is coming from ducts in the floor. It is prohibited to carry out any electrical work at the venue. Stands can be connected to the building's electricity mains by the electricians officially appointed by the organisers: Gielissen.

It is the owner or user’s responsibility to ensure that portable appliances are safe to be plugged into the electrical system. 

  • Space Only exhibitors can order their electricity through Gielissen's webshop (opening soon);
  • Each Booth Package stand includes a main connection including one socket outlet and minimum electrical consumption. Additional electrical capacity and accessories can be ordered through the webshop of Gielissen (opening soon). 
  • Electricity will NOT be available 24 hours a day, but will be switched on from 1 hour prior to the show opening until half-an-hour after the show close. Continuous power can be ordered through the Gielissen webshop (opening soon);

Construction Height

The maximum construction height is 8 meters. Drawing approval for any Space Only stand and Booth Package stands exceeding 2.50 meters in height is mandatory.

Rigging

Rigging is possible in the exhibition hall above all stands. For detailed information about rigging possibilities above your stand and to order hanging points visit the webshop of Gielissen. 

Please note that rigging objects can only be hung above the exhibitor’s space and not over aisle ways.

Banners bigger than 36sqm need to be approved by the EAGE Exhibition Team. These banners will be evaluated individually. Please include your banners in your stand design and send it to the EAGE Exhibition Team before 15 August 2021.

The venue reserves the right to inspect all rigging, working methods and equipment to ensure compliance and to prohibit the use of non-compliant equipment and working methods.

Second Storey stand

The stand design of stands with two or more storeys and raised exhibit areas, must fulfill all rules & regulations and a permit must be issued before the build up starts. Please refer to the Rules & Regulations page for further information.
