EAGE Event Code of Conduct

It is central to EAGE’s mission to facilitate free and open discourse for the geoscience and engineering community at all of our meetings.

In order to achieve this, we expect our delegates and guests to:

  • Respect each other and refrain from making judgement based on race, gender, nationality, beliefs, age or disability.

  • Refrain from any form of harassment.

  • Avoid politically sensitive or provocative statements that are in opposition to the mission of the Association.

  • Knowingly misrepresent the technical and scientific contributions of others or be a party to plagiarism or infringement of intellectual property (including illicit recording or screen captures).

Please also familiarize yourself with the EAGE Professional and Ethical Standards, which are part of the EAGE By-Laws.

Online events may consist of recordings or live streamed video. Such content may not be recorded or otherwise captured without the express written permission from EAGE and the authors and/or owners of the submitted or streamed content.
