Welcome to First EAGE Workshop on Water Footprint
This space is aimed at students, professionals, companies, civil society organizations, and interested people from various sectors that interact with water resources and seek to know and understand the dynamics, progress, research, projects, and initiatives that are being developed in the productive and academic sectors around what is and how the water footprint is measured and how this information can help mitigate environmental impacts. The purpose of this is to contribute to the fulfillment of goals and initiatives in the circular economy of water, innovation, technology, and watershed action.
These priorities are aligned with the National Development Plan in Colombia and its vision of water management as one of its axes. In this meeting we will have national and international success stories, we will seek spaces for academia-business exchange and we will have scheduled forums with experts on these topics. Participants will be able to understand concepts, methodologies, trends, strengths, and opportunities for collective action and improvement of integral and corporate water management for the sustainability and competitiveness of the country.
