IOR+ 2027

12-14 April 2027 |  Lyon, France

Welcome to Lyon

Lyon, the gastronomic heart of France, is renowned for its exceptional culinary heritage, Renaissance architecture, and vibrant silk-weaving history. Situated at the confluence of the Rhône and Saône rivers, the city seamlessly blends two millennia of history with a dynamic, modern urban energy.

The Vieux Lyon district preserves one of Europe's most extensive Renaissance neighborhoods, characterized by its narrow "traboules" and hidden courtyards, while the Presqu'île offers grand plazas and refined 19th-century boulevards. Overlooking the city, the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière sits atop the "prayed-upon hill," offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city’s terracotta rooftops stretching toward the Alps.

VISA Information

France is a member of the Schengen Area, which means that travelers from many countries within this zone can enter without a visa to attend the event. Participants not falling within this category will need to apply for a Schengen Visa.

For the most up-to-date information, attendees should always check with the French embassy or consulate in their country of residence or visit the official France-Visas portal before making travel arrangements.

We strongly encourage attendees who require a visa to begin the application process at least three months prior to the event, as processing times can be lengthy in specific cases.

To assist with your application, EAGE can issue an invitation letter. This request must be completed during the registration process. Please note that EAGE cannot guarantee the usability or acceptance of an invitation letter by authorities. Always refer to the nearest consulate for specific visa requirements.
